SITUATION OF CHRISTIANS IN FEDERAL CAPITAL OF PAKISTAN

36428940_10155880042039576_2644252647925743616_n

This is a slum area inside Islamabad city which is called tent or shopper colony because most people over there live in little tents made of plastic bags. This place is near an open sewerage line. Christians are forced to live there in extreme poverty and vulnerability. When they get sick, they are not allowed to be admitted in government hospitals because most staff don’t even want to touch a Christian (Christians are considered untouchable in Pakistan). Poor Christians then have to find hospital supplies from hospital garbage and then use them on themselves. Because these syringes or medicines are used and expired, that increases the chances of death and contracting new diseases for the patient. This is the country that always speaks for the rights of Kashmir and Palestine while ignoring their terrorism but they don’t really care about Christians living there. I am surprised to see how the world actually believe their lies and don’t really care what happens to Christians. The genocide and persecution of Christians that is happening in Pakistan right now is not being recognized by the world, instead they focus on Muslims of Kashmir, Palestine or Syria. The world should wake up now before its too late.

It is a Crime to be a Christian in Pakistan: Hector Aleem

In Pakistan being Christian is a crime. If they raise voice for their rights or someone speak in their favor, their corpses will be on the road. I ask Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Nawaz Sharif, what will you say about Minorities in United Nations General Assembly? Are minorities living according to the charter of UN in Pakistan? That is why whoever gets a chance is fleeing from Pakistan especially Christians.

Speech of Hector Aleem for minority rights

Hector Aleem’s speech in “National Conference on the protection of Minorities in Pakistan: Issues, Challenges and way forward.” with MNA Mr. Akram Gill and Senator Ms. Roshan Baruja etc.
Those who claim that 5% quota of government jobs for minorities was announced by a Christian Federal Minister during the tenure of PPP (2008-2013), following is the proof that Hector Aleem demanded for the 5% quota of government jobs for minorities during the Musharraf tenure and before that. This is the result of his struggle. Following is the link of the report on the conference in which the entire speech of Hector Aleem can be read (see page 17 and 18 of this report).

Previous activities of Hector Aleem

Mr. Hector Aleem, Chairman Peace Worldwide worked hard to create a culture of peace in Pakistan. That is why he expanded the work of Peace Worldwide and opened offices in different areas of Pakistan. He worked hard for the rights and education of Pakistani Christians due to which he had to face assassination attempts and was jailed due to a false blasphemy case. While he was in prison, many who were the supporters of Taliban and Islamic Extremists tried to defame Hector Aleem.
